Hello, I have added fireball shooters to my minecraft mod that that adds weapons to minecraft. This weapon can be made with 1 dispenser, 2 iron ingots, 4 tempered copper, and if there is a fireball in the inventory, it will shoot a fireball.

That's where I need your help. This weapon can be upgraded with 1 tempered copper and 1 blueprint in the smithing table. Enchanced Fireball Shooter throws more destructive fireballs. Do you think this system is good, or should it be harder to make an enchanced fireball shooter? You can share your ideas in the comments section!

When you say 'a fireball in inventory', are you talking about a firecharge (what a dispenser shoots when loaded with firecharges / blaze shot) or have you added a ghast style fireball as an obtainable item?
(The latter would be much more of a game changer due to the ability to break blocks, thus suggesting that it should be more expensive to use.)
In any case, a large part of the answer depends on how expensive/difficult to obtain the ammunition is...
Assuming a firecharge as ammunition and vanilla availability for charcoal/coal, gunpowder, and blaze rods; even the base weapon strikes me as more powerful than I'd like to see in a vanilla[-ish] game. YMMV, and the other features of teh mod may make this reasonable in context.

My mistake. When I said Fireball, I meant Fire Charge. When I read your comment, I realized that the guns added in this mod are not expensive enough. Now, even pistols, the weapon that requires the least copper when making it, will be made with 2 tempered copper, which is made from a total of 126 raw copper. Hopefully, this change will make it impossible to access weapons in the beginning part of the game.
