Installing Mods in 1.21

I used mods a lot in 1.12. Needless to say, they don't work in 1.21. Where do I install the .jar files for mods in java 1.21?

You may want to consider using a launcher with mod support, that will make things much easier on you. Prism for example is pretty easy to use and you don't even have to exit the launcher to set up a modded game.
some popular sites for hosting mods for current versions of minecraft are here on PMC and over on Modrinth.
if you're asking which folder you should be installing the files into, i'm pretty sure they just go into the 'mods' folder (though, of course, this may vary based on mod loader).
