We're upgrading horses in every way! We're adding a whole new model, coat colors, animations, tack, weapons, armor, progression, and decor. SWEM is being implemented in 3 Phases:(1.16.5)

- Phase 1 Being the core release with the model, animations, and tack.
- Phase 2 Is an art release, adding more coats colors, genetics, more decor, etc.
- Phase 3 Will come back around to the survival aspect with adding a dimension with magical beasts to tame, a set map to explore, and lore. Plus more but thats a secret. Its no fun if there's no surprises.

We are looking for:
Texture Artist - Horse coat colors, item variants, stable decor, etc. (We have 1 fantastic artist but the Phase 2 work is too much for one person).
Dev - Armor, weaponry, horse armor, doors and gates, leveling system, genetics, etc (We have a part-time dev now and a full-time looking to join in a few weeks). Besides the mod, we do need specific plug-ins made to service the accompanying server (stuff like permissions, admin levels, and mini-game accounting).
Animator - Animating the new horse model for walk, trot, canter, gallop, jump, rear, buck, flight states, idle, and idle variants - plus a couple player seating positions.
Payment: There is also a Patreon started so as the mod gains more notoriety we will be dividing that up to help support y'alls work for continued development.

Hello, I have a question. Is it okay if I make a Swem resource pack? I figured out how to find the textures and just wanna know. If I can only use it for personal use that's fine.

Hey! Is there gonna be an update later on? I was wondering because there is only quarter horses and I was kinda hoping for other breeds to like thoroughbreds, gaited horses, fresians, Arabians, ect. Other than that I love the whole mod! Keep it up!👍

Don’t know if you got an answer but you have to hold the tack box and right click the horse then place it to bind it :)

I got to the point where I'm about to get into the game and it says there is an error because it needs two mods, player animator and the geckolib3 thing. I've literally scoured the internet for the right versions and nothing has worked I cant find anything... I don't have access to discord s I'm asking on here, did anyone else have this problem?? I don't understand. And I've been waiting for this mod forever and I'm very excited...but I cant play your game...

Hello, I just got the mod and had the same issue but was able to resolve it. I will put links directly to the forge versions required as of 09/22/22.

Scroll all the way down and you should see a file named geckolib-forge-1.16.5-3.0.92.jar
Download that one and put it into your mods folder.
PlayerAnimator: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/playeranimator/files/3955873
Do the same process and scroll down to the file named: player-animation-lib-forge-0.3.5+1.16.5.jar
Download that one and put it into your mods folder. You should be set.

The concept seems to not fit MC. I mean it looks more for a similar blocky game, but I appreciate the time and effort on the details and conception. Coudn't wait to hear more

sugestions:
1. add something like the fresh animations animation while riding a horse in 1st person, would be awesome
2. add a option to choose bettwen the modded horse model and the vanilla horse model, i mean i like ur model, it looks way more realistic and phenomenal, but would be awesome to have this with the vanilla horse too

hello! i was wondering if you can update your game to the point that your horse can show signs of your mare being prego by its belly getting bigger bc i think that it would be very realistic also can you make it to the point were your horse can get sick if you do not take care of them <3

If they make models where the horses are pregnant then they have to make the model and then have to do every single coat again
