I think everyone is familiar with Sodium or Optifine, many will say that sodium is better as it boosts more fps. I mainly use Optifine for older versions and Sodium for newer ones.

But all of the sudden Sodium just stopped working. Only Optifine was working, so I tried getting Sodium to work again and it still didn't work, so I kinda felt hopeless until I found a new mod that's absolutely insane with fps, it's called Vulkan Mod and in my opinion it is way better at boosting fps than sodium. The downside though is that it isn't compatible with other fps boost mods except for a few such as lithium and ferritcore.

I'm testing out the mod with other fps boost mods and make my own fps boost mod and post it on PMC and Modrinth (Which I doubt).

Keep in mind that things heavily depend on what modloader you use... With Fabric the combination of Iris/Sodium is pretty much a nobrainer, it's really that good. But not so much for Forge... though there are some really good ports available, my personal favorites being Embeddium / Occulus. And despite the fact that Embeddium already does a very good job I actually prefer adding Ferrit Core into this mix as well, so that memory usage is also better optimized.

While FPS is an important factor it's not always something you should fully focus on. Memory usage and chunk loading for example can also drag down your FPS rates in certain situations.
