Anyone have experience with Haskell here?

Unfortunatly I don't , but I have experience with scripting languages like lua, programming languages including C++...etc
But I've been very interested in Haskell, and how it works and I'd be glad to meet someone on these forums who has 1st hand experience with the programming language.

I recommend you google: "Learn me a haskell", it explains haskell's functionality and why it exists today. and I strongly urge you to try it out, i've heard that it makes you think differently when programming.

Java is allot easier than other object oriented programming languages, like C++ which has an endless amount of libraries to learn, whereas Java has less, but makes up for being a portible language.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, I wouldn't want to be creating arguements.

I'm not that interested in Haskell. I find Java and OOP much more exciting.

Fair enough, I've been interested with allot recently.
The first thing that struck my mind when I came across something called "Haskell", was "What does it do?", "What's it's purpose?".
I've read a couple of pages of "Learn me a haskell" to get a better understanding of what it's purpose is.
