Hello Planet Minecraft people,

My friend and I have been working on a modpack recently, and it's working quite good.
We use version 1.10.2, but a majority of mods have not updated yet, like Traincraft, Rails of War or Zora no Densha. Some mods, like Thermal Expansion, won't even update anymore. This has lead me to think about going back to Minecraft version 1.7.10. My question is, which version should I use? Should I go 1.7.10 and update in about 3 months, when most mods have updated to 1.10.2, or should I go 1.10.2? I just feel like I can't make a unique modpack using 1.10.2, as the modpacks for 1.10.2 there currently are, are all very similar because there are only about 30-40 good mods.
