I have a Minecraft mod, and I want to post it on Planet Minecraft, but the file limit is 10 mb. My mod is in fact over five times that size, and I want to know if I can direct people to the Mediafire link I've set up for it instead of having Planet Minecraft host it, so the size limit could be bypassed. I also want to know if I can super-compress it or something, so it can be hosted by Planet Minecraft. Thanks!

You can direct to a third-party such as Mediafire. There's a bar called "Mod File Mirror" when you upload. Enter the URL to your Mediafire (or whatever) file into it.

So I provide a mirror... How? The only thing relating to mirrors is the Mod File Mirror in the "optional" section of the mod upload page.

Use another host. They may remove the limit if you get to a higher rank.
