I've been playing with Biomes O'Plenty in java 1.12.2, on a mac, and accidentally opened my world when mods weren't active. Now that I've re-enabled mods, the only blocks in my entire chunk are the vanilla ones, and all of my non-vanilla stuff in my chests has gone too! Can anyone help me out getting my stuff back?

Something similar to this happened to me before. I would just go into creative and respawn all your missing stuff back in.

install FTB Utils for backups that I recommend alot, it happened to me many times to have corrupted worlds or vanilla on modded, this helped very much

When you load a map with missing entries, it automatically does a backup. In the saves folder you'll find a .zip archive (or its mac equivalent) containing a backup of your world. Just extract the archive in the saves folder, and your world will be back with mods!

No such luck, under saves there's only the current copy, and in the folder labeled backups there are just .zips of three deleted worlds :/

... so I'm sorry, but you can't recover your world.

Try to often make a backup of your modded worlds, or put a warning in the world name that will make you recognize easily it's a modded world.
