i am sort of confused on something. if i want to make an item do something when you press a certain key what do i do? im using modloader

Gosh, learn Java and do some basic programmering and than move on to advanced. That's what I spent five years on, been programmering since I was nine, I'm almost sixteen now.

You should learn the basics of java. Seriously.
It's very simple, Import the Input class and create an object from it. Then use an if statement with it. Calling the class is pretty simple, (Input object name).Key_(key)
