I would like to add mods to my Minecraft.
There are three modpacks I'd like.

Third:
How can I do this? Are any of these mods discontinued? Are any of these incompatible?

- More Player Models, Minimap, Optifine, Fastcraft, NEI, Inventory tweaks, Better PVP, Lucky Blocks, Biomes O' Plenty, Enhanced Visuals
Second:
- Same as above plus Ars Magica 2
Third:
- Same as first plus Tinker's Construct
How can I do this? Are any of these mods discontinued? Are any of these incompatible?

first things first, mods =/= modpacks
but just as long as theres a version of the mod made for a certain version of minecraft u can use them together, 1.7.10 would probably be your best bet though,
just head over to https://mods.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft and select your version of minecraft u wana use
optifine is at http://optifine.net/downloads
if you dont want to deal with installers i would recomend using the curse launcher, can be gotten from curse or you could use multiMC https://multimc.org/ that way you can install forge in about 3 clicks or so

Your best bet would be to choose a minecraft version that is supported and no longer a dead cow
