I've been recently getting back into modding, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for mods that I could make. I'm not very creative.

Need help with where to put mods in minecraft to get them to work

Short answer for warrlock66:
Move each mod to C:\Users\yourPCusername\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods
Longer answer:
1) open your file explorer, type "%AppData%" in the address bar of the explorer (including the % symbols) and press enter.
2) open the ".minecraft" folder you find there
3) create a folder called "mods" if there isn't one already
4) paste the mod file (.jar format) in that mods folder
This is for Java edition; if you're using something else, look up Mods on the wiki:

You probably also need Forge Modloader, and its version needs to match the version of the game you're trying to play.
Not all mods are compatible (yet) with the more recent versions of the game.

Also, if you have more than one Minecraft version for Forge, then in mods folder create sub-folders like 1.7.10, 1.14, 1.12.2, 1.8.9, 1.10, 1.11

Maybe biome mobs? Like, crocodile in Swamp, scorpion in Desert, troll in Hills. Weapons made from them. Items from them.

I mean... psychadelicraft hasn't been updated since 1.7.10 for forge. Been missing that on my server, just a fun little mod adding drugs and really trippy screen effects.

Love the idea! Gonna make a mod like that. Not an exact clone but still similar!
