I have just installed Optifine for 1.6.4. Recently when I used Optifine for 1.6.2 it made me lag like mad! I downloaded it and it lags again! I use a macbook version 10.8.5, so is it because of my computer?

Whenever I'm using OF the game isn't laggy at all (Windows-Laptop), but if it runs on a macbook? I can't say (I have a macbook air (should have) and MC woudln't run on it because of it's spec's, so Idk), sorry
