So, my dads really been wanting to start a lets play, but he doesn't want to do just a normal minecraft "oh now i gotta build a house lel" type thing. He had a great idea, of doing one as a vampire. he can stay out the first day, but from then on he cant go out during the day. THEN he had another great idea. "I wonder... if i could get someone to make the sun catch me on fire..." So, in conclusion, my dad needs someone to make him a small mod, that merely makes him catch on fire from the sun, but not other types of light, just like a skeleton. Thank you all for reading, and PLEASE reply if you can do this.

There's no such thing as a "sunburn API" in or for Minecraft.

I mistyped, Not API but AI, It is the same thing that is used for skeletons and zombies, I'm not sure on the exact file name however, So I just call It the sunburn API. And I know this is a dead/finished topic but i found it as i was going through my posts and wanted to clarify that.

That sounds kinda cool, but as long as it broke the helmet pretty quickly? He dosent want to be able to go in the sun at all but if it didnt take to long for the helmet to break i think thatd be just fine

what if i make it so that the sun damages the helmet and when the helmet is broken the sun hurts hum again

Ok so he says that hed rather just be to where he cant be in the sun at all, just shade can save him, but if the armor thing is easiest, than that is absolutely fine.

Oh man thanks for doing this for my dad! he'll be so stoked! but hold on let me talk to him i'm not sure about the armor thing... maybe if it would just take longer to kill him with armor?

do you want it so that armor stops you from catching fire? like zombies and skeletons?
