Hey there, im that2guy. I'm currently programming a new mod that introduces new weapons into the game. This includes guns, katanas, slingshots, maces, battle axes and more! There will be different armor to combat these new weapons and I will introduce new metals like lead that allow for modification of weapons (like better durability, sharper blades, better designs etc). Maybe in the future I'll include tanks and helicopters? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

If you can work with JSON item models, MrCrayFish has a tool that's free and easy to use.

Also, even though you kinda strained the 24 hour bump rule the bumps had smart messages. Heh.

All textures and items done for 0.0.1! Having an error w/ crafting recipes failing to load, (mc forum post: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/ma ... cipe-crash) if you know what went wrong please tell me what happened!

Lead is for extra durability, like Im planning to eventually be able to modify these weapons so they have better durabiltiy and stuff (if you read the first post). The armor is stronger than iron but weaker than diamond, but has a better durability. Thats why im making lead stuff. Its also so you have a different option for armor.

Well I was thinking that some of the guns could be modelled in hand, but that was an idea. But what I do need modelled is a dummy, and maybe some mobs but I'm not sure what. But for 0.0.1 i need a katana, battle axe, a ninja shuriken, lead ore, ingots and armour.

For models you just need the program Techne, and it converts it to Java for you. But, if you want to do some textures add me on Skype: mmerry02

It would be kinda cool if you could throw a stone block (or cobble, or whatever) like a rock at an opponent, rather than just "dumping" the item out of your inventory. Not really a mod guy myself, but thought it sounded like a good idea. Good luck with the mod!

I think that this could be cool if you were able to put cobblestone in a crafting table and get 10 rocks or something and then you could throw or slingshot or catapult them
