Hi, I'm new to WorldEdit, and I was wondering how I would be able to delete every block in the world (or at least until you can't see them anymore.) I was going to make a Hunger Games map, and I wanted the Arena to be in a glass dome, like normal, but I was having trouble getting it to delete all of the blocks I needed it to. Please help, and thanks in advance!

Use MCEdit. First of all, you won't have to deal with lag or crashes from large worldedits.
Then, I think you can make a hollow sphere with MCEdit. I'm not exactly sure how to, though. But I'm 90% sure that you can.

Can you use both WorldEdit and MCEdit at the same time?

Yes.

MCEdit is a program.
WorldEdit is a Mod/Plugin.

So how would I go about doing what I was talking about with block deleting in MCEdit?

And, does MCEdit do things such as //hsphere?

Nope, only WorldEdit does that.

Search in google, "Blank Minecraft world download." You should be able to get an empty world with one block in it.

ChaosExpertI suggest using MCEdit. It's a lot easier.

I haven't used MCEdit yet. In what ways is it easier, might I ask?

You can edit and filter pretty much everything in a world, all the way down to chunk info.

Well, you cant unless you go from one side of the world to the other with the wand.
I suggest using MCEdit. It's a lot easier.

Or go the ghetto way:
1. Download Skyblock
2. Delete all but 1 block
3. ???
4. Profit!
