Use external programs for creating more realistic landscapes like worldpainter:

If you strictly need to use plugins in-game, I suggest getting world edit and voxel sniper, except both of those plugins need extensive knowledge to get the full use out of them and make truly good looking landscapes in game, whereas programs like worldpainter need minimal experience and just a lot of patience.
