Need an opinion and some tipps.
Hello guys,
at the moment I am working at a new project. In the past I managed four servers, with over 400 players on each whitelist. After a while just manage the servers didn't filled me out. Now I am building my own big projects. I use what I've learned, but the result is not perfect for me. It's still in process (40% done).

Some pictures for you
It would be really nice, if you could critizise it and give me some tipps
Thank you

Yeah, this looks awesome as it is!

Think someone needs to fly into your map for tips.

You can use glowstone under carpet for light

Strongly advised, one of the best ways of interior lighting.

I have to admit, it looks pretty good. However, a little more block variety would help. Also, I think this project would really benefit from use of shaders and/or a texture pack.
Keep building, you definitely have talent

Block variety is given later. Yes it would
Carpets won't fit into that building, if thex were set on every floor.
That is pretty awesome

Mercer444 Unless if you use an overload of carpet.
I suggest looking at this blog:

I think it looks great, I don't really see anything wrong with it.

The layout is good, and the block palette seems fine (except random acacia fences, which dont fit in at all), but you used both unnecesary active beacons (yes I know they might exist in real life, but in minecraft they just dont give the wanted effect and simply look ugly), and torches for lighting. Try to avoid both, as it makes the build look really, well, unprofessional.
Another point of improvement is the repetitivness of most of your walls. It consists of a log frame and birch wood, with a white pane window in most cases. This is boring after a while.
now, WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT THIS:

now, WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT THIS:
- Don't use torches of any kind, use solid lighting blocks instead. Try to also obscure them partially behind other blocks, giving them a 'disguise' or incorporating them in your design.
- don't use active beacons more than you need to, 5 per map should be all you ever need. Make them a logical color for their use (red and lime-green for any kind of (air)traffic-related things, for instance), and don't use more than one for each instance (you don't need 6 beacon per situation, in most cases).
- About the variation part, since your grid components seem to be mostly the same size, I suggest you make a bunch of those separate parts, and try to see in how many ways you can make them, while retaining the same basic shape. That way you'll have a large pool of variation to draw from.

The main-build is just the administrive part and the main part of the warehouse.
The big ships will park somewhere else, as an external build which is connected with bridges. So yeah you're absolutely right. There are some ships missing

Love the style but at the moment, either I'm missing a big part of it, or it doesn't look like too many things can park at the airport at the same time.
