Does any one knows how to delay spawn time? Or how to make it longer?

So they spawn at one place? But have to click a button, and wait for abt 20 secs to get back to the field? Not a bad idea :3 but still currently on my parkour and action map :3 thinking to the future

Alright how about using command blocks instead of doors, and use @p so that it only works for one at a time /tp @p x y z

The door idea sounds fine.

What I do is that each base has an iron door that they need to exit to get to the battle field, if I want them to stay in the respawn area for later, then I add more repeaters

But you see, what if all of them die? Don't they get the same time to get in the battlefield? So is like all 3 of them rushing out? Which doesn't seem fair :/

Ahh, gd idea, I could also use cobwebs I suppose?

Rusty, good idea, but u see the thing I'm try to make has like 3 ppl on each side? So what happens If all 3 dies at the same time?

Different spawn points for different players is probably the simplest way but it isn't very compact. If you have a heap of space under your map and not a heap of players this would be a good idea
You could also have them spawn above some tripwire and then shorten the pulse from the tripwire to 1 tick so that you can have a more accurate system. You would need some sort of way to sort out who spawned there 1st though.
You could also make them drop from a high place into water and use the fall time as your delay. if you can place this under the map and make it nearly go to bedrock then it would be very effective and consistant and if a 2 players spawned at once you could use the @a parameter with a range of about 2-3 blocks so that you could have all players spawn in one location, unless they need different spawn points.

Anyway, how to make diff spawn points?

oh, you could make it when he dies, he spawns in a small room with a preassure plate.
This preassure plate could send a signal that would 15 sec. to reach (so yes, repeaters are the key). and once its done he will be teleported to the maps spawn... easy... but make sure to change the spawn point to the little room if you take my idea XD
This idea is much for cleaner and easier, and takes less space to build then that door idea... if you need any help with it ask ma im command block commando

I'm thinking of making a custom map so that if a guy dies, he will have to wait for abt 15 secs? So yeah. Maybe I will use the door suggestion tks boss

Just use repeaters simple as that...

I don't get what you mean.

If u mean player respawn time u can make some small building where u spawn and there is button. when u press button doors will open in some time using repeaters. im new to all this so i dont know about is there some more advanced style for it.
