Hello,
I need to have floating text for my spawn, which I can and have achieved by using the
"/summon ArmorStand ~ ~ ~ {Invulnerable:1b,NoGravity:1b,Invisible:1b,CustomNameVisible:1b,CustomName:(namer here)" command. My problem, however, is that it only makes the text in white but i want it to be colored. Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

Include the § symbol (Macs: ALT + 6, Windows: ALT + 2 + 1). Put the command in a text document, copy the symbol, paste it where you want it & include the color you want (IE §a = light green), then copy the command and paste it in-game.

create a scoreboard team.
Scoreboard teams add DERP
screoboard teams join @e[type=ArmorStand] DERP
Should change text color.

It still works on 1.8 for me. Unless you're using the Protocol hack (1.7 and 1.8 clients). IF you have the most recent verison it SHOULD work!

I am running spigot, but that version is for 1.7 and lower, we are on 1.8
