Heyo, I've been looking into this for quite awhile but haven't had any luck. But is there any actual way to detect if a player is standing on a specific Biome? I don't suppose i'd get any luck out of an executed /detect command since that's for blocks. But I can't think of anything else.

well you could but it would be hard to do and either be searching if theres a certain block that only goes in that biome or youll have to set each chunk as a certain number and the numbers specify the biome but i think that those are the only ways... unless you set the world into 1 biome and be like theyre in a forest biome and thatd be cheating... lol

Nope, you can't detect what biome the player is in. You can detect if he is in a desert biome by using snow golems, but you don't really need that.

I think there is a way to set invisible armor stands in a biome and it will detect if a player is near one.
