Spawning Zombies on a scoreboard team

Title says it all really. Just curious if there's a way to spawn Zombies on a scoreboard team so that they don't do damage to players on their team. If not is there another way to stop that from happening?

well, you could give people of that team a really long and powerful resistance effect
