Hello guys! I wanted to know if you can spawn multiple mobs with the /summon command and one command block? Thanks !

well now that we have a few more new commands, what you could do know is instead use /setblock to spawn a redstone block at an area with command blocks that do all the stuff you need

Perhaps, if you wanted different mobs, you could spawn the mobs riding each other, but every other mob, have a placeholder mob with the tag {Health:0} so it dies instantly dismounting all mobs above it. Then just change the health of the other mobs to compensate for any fall damage.

thanks but i just found out sethbling has made a pulse multiplier so i think that would be easier. Thanks anyways!

well you could make 2 mobs by either spawning them riding each other, or by spawning a spawner.
EDIT:here the best way to do it: /summon FallingSand ~ ~1 ~ {TileID:52 TileEntityData:{EntityId:(id of the mob you want),SpawnCount:(number of that mob you want),MaxNearbyEntities:(same as spawn count)},Time:(any number over 0, i use 60)}
