Throwing Snowballs Through Entities

I am trying to make a tank in vanilla Minecraft. All goes well, un till I can't throw the snowball (tank missle) through an armor stand. The armorstand is neccesary since i need an entity to wear a block model on the head so that the tank looks realistic.
So, my question is how do I make players able to throw snowballs while in an entity.

Make the hitbox of the armorstand very small using {Marker:1b}. Not 100% if it will work, but it's worth a try.

If you want it to remain vanilla, I don't think you can.
