Yes you can:

Use the command "/testfor @a[x=X,y=Y,z=Z,r=R]" on a clock.
X= x location
Y= y location
Z= z location
R= radius from that coordinates

So type the location of your goldblock in the command, the radius should be 1 or 2 in your case, you have to try that...
Place a comparator behind the command_block and wire up the redstone to the door you want to open...

You'll need a pressure plate or you'll need to make a bud switch and place something on the block to activate a block update
