But firstly, I don't know how to make a Java resource pack and secondly, entity behaviours aren't supported even on the Snapshots. Why is my cricket bat shaking when I type?

I think probably yes, but it would be good to post both version for Java and Bedrock Edition : )

Separated as two submissions or included in one post, then You can give mirror link for example for java edition version, and in url text area link to bedrock edition
