I'm trying to make a custom resource pack and I changed the sounds with Audacity and replaced them with the same sound file. I have tried restarting minecraft and changing/changing back the resource pack, but yet the sounds do not change.

I tried to change the hit sounds for villagers, yet they stay the same.

Does anyone know any idea on how I can fix this? Please help!
