Help creating PVP Texture pack?

I was wanting to create a texture pack for PVP, but I would prefer to work off of an existing texture pack as a base and therefore be really able to focus on the essential asects of development. If anyone has a texture pack they would be willing to let me use, please say below. I will choose the best (if any) posted. Thanks!

I'd prefer to make the custom items and certain blocks for the pack by myself, but if you make / own a texture pack you would be happy for me to modify, then please post a link.
