First, download this template from http://pmc.la/RIZMT (I shortened the link, it is safe! Do not worry! So, download it. So, then, you can edit the .png's to change the textures & to change the resource pack logo, edit "pack.png"

This could actually help new users. I even experienced the difficulty 1st hand when I was looking up "how to make resource packs". But now; it seems to be a pretty straightforward thing
