I recently made a wall post stating that I will be dropping the MCMojang resource pack.
I am going to delete it from my profile but if anyone wants to get ownership of the resource pack, comment below.
This'll mean that all the current textures are on your name, you can edit the resource pack to how you see fit. All further responsibility is shifting to you.
If you wish to abandon the resource pack after some time, you can.

I recommend that you continue to be the owner of the texture pack, regardless of whether or not you have new ideas for this.
Beyond the experience that you will lose in the page, it is your effort, your work.

I want to see the pack grow and be better how it is now because I think it doesn't look good at the moment.

I'm sorry i keep adding stuff, but i think i will be able to carry this pack on, and make it better, as time passes..

I have been trying to keep the resource pack in an 8x8 resolution, after a while making textures in that resolution became difficult. I think it all would look better in a higher resolution, but I've already got a similar resource pack that does that.
At first I wanted to abandon and delete the resource pack but then I thought that maybe someone else could do the things with the resource pack that I couldn't.

Ah I see, that's fair, 8x8 is can be quite restrictive, especially when trying to do detailing...
I always think that either 16x16 or 32x32 are good resolutions for "simplistic" style texture packs, as they also give you some more breathing space for details.

If you get full control over the resource pack that means that you can change up the resolution, do whatever you want with it. Even changing up the style of it, although that is not something I think people will do.
I'm creatively exhausted on the project and for me to put a lot of effort into it, then ending up with practically the same resource pack as my other one is not something I want.

Yea that's true, I get how you feel.
I think whoever get's it should stick to the style and feel of it and and not drastically change it up, they should just keep it updated and make sure it works with the latest versions of minecraft.
