Optifine Help! I see black and pink squares in some Items

When I play in game some items such as the clock and a compass and other blocks seem to turn into some black and pink squares I don't know how to fix them please help me!

Maybe update to the latest optifine.

In the items folder of the resource pack make sure there is a text file for both the clock and the compass. Because the textures are animated they need a text file to make the animations work, if there isn't one they will show up as missing textures.
