I'm a phd student using Minecraft in my research. I'm new to setting up Minecraft servers so please excuse my noobyness :)

I'm trying to set up a server that loads an asset pack for the clients. I have managed to do this with with a .zip download link (adding it to the "resource-pack=" line in the properties file.

The issue I'm having is that on Planet Minecraft, the download links all seem to redirect rather than giving direct .zip downloads and as such they don't seem to work.

I'm assuming this is specifically to stop people from doing this on large Minecraft servers, thus creating huge amounts of traffic for Planet Minecraft servers.. still, I'm wondering if there is a way to do this.

The reason I want to use Planet Minecraft is because it has really good tags for the resource packs which is important for what I'm trying to do.. is there any way?
