I am trying to use Sphax BureBDCraft 1.7.10 512x512 it doesn't work?
When I try to select it it lags a bit then its the default texture pack!

Did you press escape after clicking on it? If you do, press "done" instead. I make that mistake all the time. ehehehe.

Yes that is a big MUST. Always press done, but if the texture pack is laggy, try changing your settings or even better, getting Optifine. Render distance is a key and many details and your Quality

Sphax seems to be lagging for me too but I don't normally use that one, anyway goodluck!

maybe theres a .zip inside of a .zip xD i hate those.
if thats not it then make sure its in the resourcepacks folder of .minecraft
if that doesnt help then i really dont know why. maybe you client doesnt support 512x512 packs
