Thinking off making my own resource pack

Hi guys,
I am thinking off making my own resource pack
There is a few problems though
- I am terrible at Graphic design (which is the reason why I want to do this)
- I do not know which programs to use
any advice would be useful

PAINT.NET!!! And maybe Nova Skin, if you wanna'.

Anybody can make a resource pack, but it takes a truly passionate person to finish one. It really doesn't matter on your skill, it just makes a different type of resource pack. For programs, I recommend Adobe Photoshop, Paint.Net, or even (not recommended but possible) Paint.

I have all of those, thanks, I just heard around some forum posts... that had some kind-of... minecraft texture pack, that was customized from a site to be easier to simply, create one.
