"Build an Empire" - Athion Network Build Contest

We are glad to announce the opening of our Contest World on our Network with our very first contest called ‘Build an Empire”.

Our contest world has some additional features added on top of our plot plugin the main feature being the ability to DOWNLOAD YOUR PLOT at any time in the contest. This gives you a world file of your build that you can place for download on websites, render for images and make videos on. If you do this, it would be great to have a shout out to our network and link our ip in your posts

Now onto contest specifics…

You will be tasked to “Build an Empire” that a civilization would be proud to live in. You can work by yourself or in groups of up to 6 players per plot / entry as the terrain size is 1015 x 1015. You can enter on our server (play.athion.net) or by submitting the map on PMC and tweet us @AthionOfficial with the tag #BuildYourEmpireMC

You don't have to worry about terrain as we have custom preloaded terrain onto each plot and uploaded the project here for download if you wish to build off our server.

Contest Information

• Theme: Build an Empire (create a build a civilization would be proud to live in. It can be any style)
• Where: On the Contest world | play.athion.net or download the map and tweet your entry using this tag #BuildYourEmpireMC at @AthionOfficial
• When: 22nd June 2015 - 6th July 2015

Limitations:

• Winning plots would need to be mostly finished, since you have 2 weeks to complete your entries we advise you work on sections of your build at a time so half completed builds are not present on your plot
• You can build in any style you like (fantasy, medieval, Nordic, steampunk...etc).
• if built on our server only the PLOT OWNER can download their plot as a world file using the command /plot web download world (need to have explored the whole plot for a full working download).
• The servers contest world will be reset after the contest, this will however not happen for a week or so after results have been released.
