Darkrise has been a 4 year work in progress for me and brings something entirely new to Minecraft with our custom feature set. We are ready to bring players on for our Alpha release. Please understand that we are nowhere near complete and we have lots more planned. However, with that said there is already tons of features for you to enjoy to keep you entertained for months to come.
Current Features
NPC Towns: Multiple NPC Towns within our world for you to discover.
Guilds are Optional: You can start a guild, join one or play as a freelance solo player.
Guild Holdings: Guilds are able to capture territory with pre-built castles to live out of with your allies
Virtual Storage: We offer 2 types of storage, normal player storage and each guild gets a personal guild vault.
Custom Mobs: There are over 50 custom mobs that gradually get harder as you explore towards the outer parts of the map.
Custom Items: You'll find over 450 custom items in our world.
Custom Crafting: We use our own custom crafting system to craft armor, weapons, potions, enchanting books and horses.
Custom Resource Gathering: We use a gathering system that replenishes resources automatically.
Politics and Territory Control: Create a guild and conquer new territory.
Auction House: Use the auction house for buying and selling your items to other players.
Item Based Currency: Our currency system (gold) is item based and can be used for trading, buying and selling.
Horses: Store horses in your inventory for safe keeping. Can also trade or sell your horses.

Fixed not being able to damage golems
Changed Firegiant mob type to baby zombie villager

Gold nuggets can no longer be sold to vendors (gold is used directly from the inventory when making purchases)
