FrontierCraft: Gold Rush – Wild West Adventures in 1800s California – guns, npc quests, homesteading and more [Technic][1.7.10]

FrontierCraft is a western-themed, modded, casual rp server set in Gold Rush-era California. With an emphasis on history and RPG-style gameplay, FrontierCraft aims to give players an authentic pioneer experience while keeping them enganged with a multitude of features, including:
- 1:350 scale reconstruction of Gold Rush-era California w/ accurate geography, biomes and settlements. See my California map at PMC here.
- Regenerative terrain – Tired of servers that are too restrictive of what you can do? Build and destroy at will in unclaimed territory; the server will reset all changes every 12 hours.
- Dynamic NPC quest system w/ factions and reputation – Meet miners, hunters, farmers and other pioneers roaming the frontier and complete daily quests for their respective trade guilds in exchange for items and experience. Build relationships with the different factions in California for even better rewards.
- Every type of harvestable resource in the game has some purpose in a quest. Gain experience and earn money by just playing Minecraft.
- Wildlife to hunt and be hunted by – Deer, cougars, grizzlies and more. Beware of wolves when the sun goes down!
- Period accurate firearms with 3d models, sound effects and animations – muskets, revolvers, lever actions, etc.
- Realistic economy based on the Gold Standard – Exchange gold for currency and vice versa. Item values are comparable to their historical counterparts.
- Extremely profitable gold and silver mining – Find the motherlode and strike it rich!
- Player trading booths
- Volatile but lucrative stock market based on actual businesses of the period
- Thirst, disease and temperature system – Don't venture into the wilderness unprepared!
- RPG leveling, stats and classes – Choose from 12 specializations. Gain max health and allocate points to various skills as your character becomes stronger.
- Crime system – Killing and stealing will get the attention of the law. If you commit enough nefarious deeds town sheriffs and patrolling marshals will become a thorn in your side.
- Homesteading – Stake unclaimed land with a deed and build on it. The server will protect your claim and exempt it from terrain regeneration.
- Structured team battles at certain locations – play team deathmatch and capture the flag
- Better horses – leveling and skills system, summoning and dismissing
- New ores, tools and recipes – Forge steel from iron and tin. Craft gunpowder from sulfur, bullets from lead, casings from copper and much more.
- New crops – harvest wild fruits, vegetables and grains and plant your own
- Party system – explore and complete quests in a group to share experience
- Dozens of treasure chests scattered about the map
- Hotels and real estate
- Factions war system between Mexico and American rebels that will be incorporated at a later date – players will be able to capture territory (including cities) for the country of their allegiance
- Player bounties – The U.S. Marshals are understaffed. Take the matter into your own hands and put up a reward.
- Handcuffs – Hunting a bounty and your client wants the target alive? Cuff them and carry their immobile bodies to justice.
- RP time system w/ calendar events – Experience California history as the years pass from 1845 onward. Important events such as the Bear Flag revolt and the discovery of gold at Sutter's mill will unfold over time and affect the game world.
- Friendly and hostile Native American tribes to meet, trade with and complete quests for
- Gambling minigames at saloons – There are seriously a lot of ways to make money on this server.
- Blood – Watch your innards spray out as you fly several blocks back from a shotgun blast.
- Alcohol – You can't have an authentic old west experience without booze!
