We are proud to announce that Gloracraғт has opened its doors. Gloracraft is a fantasy role-play Minecraft server. It has its roots in Greg Stafford's fantasy world of Glorantha.
This server gives the player the opportunity to explore regions such as Lands Fronela (home of the druids), Kralori Sultanate (home of the barbarians), Valind's Glacier (home of the shortish dwarves), and Errinoru (home of the cruel orcs).

Players can discover quests and special items as they make their way through this diverse world. From beautiful arabic-style cities to deep, dark mines. Glorantha contains many dangerous areas loaded with precarious paths, booby traps, dead-ends and, of course, puzzles.

Numerous creatures are part of the reality of Gloracraft. The player can choose from three different types of classes: The dwarves are durable but clumsy, the barbarians are suitable for the close combat style, while the druids can also master the magic. On Gloracraft you can create your own clan or join an already existing one.

Used for displaying information about your character. Use /card to view your cards. You can directly interact with the text that pops up, so instead of remembering all the commands to edit your card you can click on the values to edit them.

Gloracraft has 2 chat channels, OOC (Out of Character) and RP (RolePlay). The OOC chat is global while RP chat is set to go 35 blocks distance.

The chat has a few formatting tricks:

Use the * symbol in front of your message to express your character's actions. For example: *looks at the stars. Shows up as <name> looks at the stars. This uses your character's name as defined in the character card. If you use quotations it'll color the text white. This helps detect speech.

ooc cнaт
Sometimes you need to tell the people you're rping with something, out of character. Put (( in front of your message and it will turn grey so people know it's out of character.

Birds are a way of sending long distance messages. It wouldn't be realistic for your message to arrive instantly at the recipient, so the bird is a message that takes time to arrive to it's destination. The amount of time a bird takes depends on the distance between the two players (20 blocks/s).

/ooc: Switch to the ooc chat
/toggleooc: Disable or enable the ooc chat
/whisper [message]: whisper something in rp (smaller range)
/shout [message]: shout something in rp (bigger range)
/bird [player] [message]: send a bird to a player

Respect has to be earned, or even taken. And it simply wouldn't be a PvP server if the player is able to dominate every fight right from the start.
The player has to pick his battles carefully. Sometimes there's no shame in retreat so long as you can come back later with a bigger sword and the experience to wield it.

The true Gloracraft warrior is mindful of their opponents in combat and uses their full repertoire of skills.
Players have more combat options than ever before, allowing them to switch their strategies seamlessly. Fast attacks keep opponents on their toes, but they don't do excessive damage. Heavy attacks, on the other hand, do a lot of damage but they also expose the player's defenses. The key is to observe and find the best time to block, evade, attack or even change tactics.

/pvp: Toggle your PvP mode.
Winner automatically receives bet items and their own back on kill.
/bet [player]: Start a bet with a player. Both players must use the command.
/bet cancel: Cancel your current bet. Only one can be active at a time.

Gold and Silver Coins are currency in Glorantha. One Gold Coin is worth 100 and Silver 5.
