Essalonia is Here!
The brand new revamped server is now open and filled to the brim with new players!
Everyone’s slates were wiped clean, a customised survival world opened and brand new factions formed and began to take claim on the new landscape!

Tomorrow is the big move
Brace yourselves, because on the 25th July the brand new Massive will be opening it’s whitelist doors and becoming public for every player!
When the server is no longer whitelisted, players are free to move around Regalia and Lobby, but Survival will be locked until some time after the release time, to ensure everything is in working order when the race for those special survival base spots begins.

This time, the Abusement Park has come back to Regalia! Roleplay in a fantasy carnival setting with slightly dangerous and macabre attractions. Delight in discovering the park’s many strange mysteries and hidden easter eggs.

More Player Models
Yes you heard that right! Over here at massivecraft we support the More Player Models V2. However this is completely optional and you can play on our server without it!
Commands
/wave use the wave animation
/sit use the sit animation
/sleep use the sleep animation

/hug use the hug animation
/sing use the sing animation
/crawl (you need to hold shift while crawling)
Optional components of MPM!
Back Tool: The first item on your action bar will show on your back when you don’t have it equipped.
Tooltip: The tooltip can be set to one of the corners and displays what tool you are holding and if it has durability it will show that as well.
Chat Bubbles: Whenever other players say things it will display above their heads.
Point of View: When you play as a different entity or if you have scaled your model, your Point of View (PoV for short) will change.
Reload Skins: Minecraft skin server have been known to glitch out from time to time. So when that happens you can simple reload everyones skin with this. Also reloads your skin if you have uploaded a new skin to your Minecraft profile. This wont reload it for other players though. They will still see the old skin unless they reload too.
You can alter these options in the F6 menu.

KitPvP
MassiveCraft is home to a specialized Minecraft KitPvP map called KitFaradh! All around this area are catted KOTH ( King of The Hill ) Beacon available for you to capture for neat power ups to help you battle off the oncoming horde of enemy players!
You have a variety of powers and kits to choose from before jumping down and battling your foe, so choose wisely! Your faction and KitPvP Inventory are completely separate so don't worry about losing any faction items, you also can’t take your KitPvP Items to the faction world!
Massivetraits
Don’t forget our custom plugin massivetraits, which gives you quirky in-game buffs! These can not only assist you to become friendly with mobs, but also walk on water, have fire immunity in case you’re prone to falling into lava, and so much more!
You start off with 100 points to spend on traits! But if you like to live life on the wild side, you can add negative traits to give you more points! This makes battling friends and enemies just the more challenging and fun!
Factions PvP
Do you have an issue to settle with, with a neighbouring faction? Are the expanding too close to your territory? Show them who’s boss and settle your dispute with PvP! Enemy them and go to war, with swords and gear. And if you win perhaps you’ll gain some neat loot, Playerheads and maybe some
enchanted gear!
The loosing faction in the war, will have to pay a tribute. Which is a specific sum of regals (in-game money) and in exchange you have to promise peace! This is a new spin to the faction world to make it even more thrilling and action packed for everyone!

MassiveMobs is one of the many custom made plugins, that runs solely and specifically on MassiveCraft! Unlike most servers, this plugin allows us to have all kinds of unique mobs and difficulty ratings to make PVE even more fun! You’ll even find naturally spawning Boss mobs dotted around survival, for you to fight and battle with!
Rarity Tiers & Drops
Our Mobs are colour coded, which shows the level of difficulty! As well as these colour codes could even give you neat drops and loot!
Because of this neat colour coding system, you can grab your friends and battle monsters for EXP and in-game money that you can then buy things with at MarketPlace!

This horrifying looking creature wanders the earth searching for its next victim, to feast upon their souls! He’s an extremely powerful being and take it from me, I highly suggest bringing along some pals to defeat this beast!
The Evil Rabbit!
This bundle of fluff is most definitely not something you want as a pet! The Evil rabbit is an extremely powerful boss and it will prey on any victim willing to cross its path, it may be small but it most definitely is not cute and cuddly!

Taming
Yes that’s right, you heard it folks! Massivemobs also allows you to tame, every, mob on massive! ( Besides Rare and Epic mobs )
Do you want a pet cow? Then have a pet cow! You aren’t restricted on Ocelots and Wolves anymore, you can tame whatever you like! This isn’t limited to docile and peaceful animals either, you can also tame mobs if you want that extra bit of protection from enemy factions!
To tame a mob, you simply need to right click on them with the item you wish to give! The items available to use

Leader in Points for the Week: Starting as they finished the month prior, House Onyxbeard have opened up a healthy lead over the others, owing predominantly to their recognition across the continent. Furthermore, accumulation of trinkets to peddle and trade, and their open war with House Barre-Lebeau have brought increased power, and have all contributed to a strong lead. However, House Brahmin of Enigma have finally begun to showcase themselves, garnering recognition beyond their own borders for their exploits within them, and therefore giving themselves a healthy buffer to the trailing Houses, though they already trail Onyxbeard by some distance. Whilst House Marvollo, Athius, and Orryn have remained quiet this first week, with Marvollo characteristically so. However Athius seem to have several upcoming festivals planned in the future, and therefore significant activity is expected within Insani's borders in the coming weeks. Orryn, however, have a non-aggression pact with the dwarves of Belegost, and talks are expected to commence to build upon that in coming days. If that will come out in favour of a peace pact, or more violent clashes, time shall prove. Finally, House Barre-Lebeau have been the brunt of continued conflict from deep within Belegost's halls, suffering substantial losses at the hands of disgruntled dwarves.

Growth: The growth of great houses remain erratic and many leaders are still contemplating the effects of spring and the seasons widespread migration.
Economy - The advisors seem to be handling their money well, as there is no significant change in their bales of gold or banks.
Lore Advancement: The Great Houses all seem docile and low in their adventures and news, the town callers having nothing to say, and rumors seeming low in traffic. All in all, the Great Houses look to be in a calm state
Lore Canonization: The Great Houses Belegost and Enigma have finally caught on in conversation topics of the people outside of Hadar, whispers of their name going on like a slowly leaking faucet. Not enough to get the emperor's attention, nor even their name having a common place among people, but the Great Houses can now look forward to building their name up outside of Hadar.
Buildings: Great Houses have been quiet in the creation of architectual greatness as the fight for Hadar continues and Houses Great and Small continue the fight for the crown.

Leader in Points for the Week: Starting as they finished the month prior, House Onyxbeard have opened up a healthy lead over the others, owing predominantly to their recognition across the continent. Furthermore, accumulation of trinkets to peddle and trade, and their open war with House Barre-Lebeau have brought increased power, and have all contributed to a strong lead. However, House Brahmin of Enigma have finally begun to showcase themselves, garnering recognition beyond their own borders for their exploits within them, and therefore giving themselves a healthy buffer to the trailing Houses, though they already trail Onyxbeard by some distance. Whilst House Marvollo, Athius, and Orryn have remained quiet this first week, with Marvollo characteristically so. However Athius seem to have several upcoming festivals planned in the future, and therefore significant activity is expected within Insani's borders in the coming weeks. Orryn, however, have a non-aggression pact with the dwarves of Belegost, and talks are expected to commence to build upon that in coming days. If that will come out in favour of a peace pact, or more violent clashes, time shall prove. Finally, House Barre-Lebeau have been the brunt of continued conflict from deep within Belegost's halls, suffering substantial losses at the hands of disgruntled dwarves.

It has begun, MassiveCraft’s Spring Festival! Started on April 8th, the staff and collective players are bringing you all a month full of fun activities!
Kicking it off was the Opening Celebration which took place on the evening of the 8th! There was an Imperial Procession for roleplayers, not to mention a superb fireworks display by DrFong!

You only have one week to finish up these quests as the countdown to the Spring Festival begins! Head to the carriage in front of the Golden Willow Tavern that will transport you to Meerberg! From there, you can complete some of the quests once a day, while some are a one-time-only quest!

Custom Crafting Recipes on MassiveCraft!
MassiveCraft is known for having over 30 custom plugins! One of the many plugins we have allows us to have custom crafting, which is widely accessible for all players, however some parts are premium member restricted!

The Spring Festival is on the way! MassiveCraft is proud to host the return of the Spring Festival! This year, it has a very Imperial twist. It’s time for Spring blossoms and surprises. This year we will have activities such as brand new questlines, roleplay events, faction events, and other secrets soon to be revealed! Come along and show your patriotism and pride to the mighty Imperial Dragon! Get rich quick! A guide to earning quick regals on MassiveCraft! Part 2
Due to the increase of new players piling into the server, some may find it confusing at start on trying to earn in-game money! However Massive is catered to help all players depending on their gaming preferences! Whether it be PVP, PVE, Quests or even Roleplay!
In this weeks segment, we will explore some of the aspects of earning regals within the faction world!
If you don’t know already! If you do /tp market, you’ll get teleported to an area where there is player run shops! Quite a few factions have their own shops here and sell some neat items, and of course you can do this too! If you set up a shop with collected items, there’s sure to be a player wanting to buy them! A good way for you to get money within the faction world!
Not to mention, if running your own shop isn’t your taste, you can even go mob slaying! Mobs are tagged with different coloured names, each having a difficulty of their own! From easiest to hardest being; teal, green, yellow, purple!
However if running around in the wilderness to hunt for mobs isn’t your ideal way on earning money and you’d rather do some grinding. There is also darkrooms! Where you can slay mobs to your heart's content and earn quick XP and regals! Not to mention it makes finding and killing mobs far easier!

MassiveCraft has evolved! Bringing to you a brand new character building system that has a striking resemblance to certain well-known game, D&D! So If you’re a fan this might be the server for you! To top it off, our server has no whitelist! So no need to worry, just log in and get roleplaying!
Being release on the 1st of March, the roleplay system will undergo the most unique and immersive update there has ever been!
The schooling system regarding character applications have taken the chance of being able to allocate specific points to the new revamped combat, intellect and cultural academies! The new system allows players to really be able to define and develop their character into something extremely unique and have their own style and characteristics depending entirely on your own choices! Earn points based on what your character and your character alone, decides!
Due to this, the current applications will have to be reworked according to the new system, however it won’t be difficult and it’s easily adaptable, as well as easy to understand for new players! So don’t be put off trying out for character application.

Fair Fountains of Fortune Await!
What’s that sound? The bubbling of waters so sweet and prosperous that they call your name? You’re not wrong! For the Quest Department has delivered astounding new wonders to the Factions Worlds. Several fountains have sprouted up in the Faction world spawn areas. These are the Fountains of Prosperity, where adventurers can offer tributes to several races of Aloria in return for rewards!
The Diamond Fountain of Conquest
This ornate fountain serves Humans and Dwarves and can be found in New Ceardia.
The Emerald Fountain of Glory
This mystical fountain serves Elves and Orcs and can be found in Teled Methen.
The Crimson Fountain of Chaos
This dark fountain serves Vampires and is hidden in Fendarfell.
These fountains will reward you with various lore items, including sets of racial relics that can be collected to unlock a unique treasure!
Not interested in lore items? Players can toggle a reward setting to receive regals instead!
And lastly, Hadarian Crown Tokens are back! These tokens can be used for points in Crisis of Kings and you will have a chance of receiving them whether you choose to receive lore items or regals.

As the blades clash and the scholars clash wits, Crisis of Kings is entering its Seventh Month soon. Crisis of Kings is a mini game for Factions here on Massivecraft, involving Faction Leaders to create their own personal lore and history for there faction and compete with other registered factions, scoring points for things like there diplomacy with other factions, winning fights against each other, recruiting, and economics. Among other things. Winners are selected at the end of each month, where staff members review the work of all the competing factions and calculate points for them. Declaring the one with the most points, the King of Hadar.

Pack isle is a large build, dedicated for quests! These quests being quick and simple, to earn money, you can actually do these quests 3 times a day to earn a nice pocket full of regals! Scattered around this map, you will find countless NPC’s dotted around at different locations, whether be inside the walls of the town or perhaps in the fields or on a ranch down the path!

To initiate quests where these NPC’s are, there is often a large notice board of some kind around the area they are placed. With different leveled jobs you can choose! However to make the quests more interesting, you actually have to do these tier quests a certain amount of times, before getting to the next tier! New tiers include an increase of regals and often a neat trophy of some kind to show the accomplished quest!
However you aren’t limited to being a baker for example, you help out as a herbalist, a logger, farmer or even a ranch hand! You have countless options at Pack Isle, to make money earning just the more enjoyable!

As you walk through the crumbling gate that separates the rest of the city from the poor and uncharted, you smell the four odor of the unsanitary conditions, you see the cramped conditions the poor are forced to live in, and you feel the threat of danger as a cutthroat reaches for you money.
The Regalian Slums are a highlight for Roleplay here on Massivecraft, home to some of the more criminal interactions for roleplay. The slums themselves is a sectioned off part of the city, all the houses are worn in and shabby which helps keep it isolated from the rest of the city. Roleplay in the slums is very different that Roleplay in the golden willow Tavern or on Main Street. In the slums there are gangs that contest for power, makeshift thieves and bandits, Covens of vampires and flocks of the oppressed. All of which walk freely behind the shattered gates leading to it.
Do not fret however, if you aren't of the criminally inclined or don’t have the fighting strength to fend of criminals. For the slums also host the Dark Lady Emporium. The Dark Lady Emporium is a building in the slums directly down the road from the entrance, in the ruins of an old Cathedral. Inside the Dark Lady Emporium are shops and businesses of all kind. They’re is a Tavern, a Fortune Teller, an Alchemy shop, a general store, a forge, a clinic, and a fighting pit. Though be wary common consumer, when you barter in the Emporium you best hope you get the best deal you can… And that the shop owner won’t come back for it later.

The Dark Lady Emporium!
In order to give slum roleplay more development and due to popular request of the players, the staff have come together to re-position the old Emporium out of the cave due to the clustered and previous congested location! This relocation will help with gaining more of a fluent and fluid slum roleplay environment, giving more opportunities for those who seek them!
Quite a lot of Massive’s playerbase use the Dynmap to search for roleplay, and with the old Emporium due to its location underground you couldn’t actually see if there was roleplay going on there! But now that it’s above ground, it now shows when there is roleplay going on, therefore increasing the amount of players who find themselves joining in on the roleplay!
This new revamped emporium is a lot bigger than the previous, having a surplus of regions for players to claim and run their own shops, clinics, Taverns ect! If you’re interested in getting in on the Emporium roleplay and wish to have your own shop, click the link below!

Upcoming Faction Changes!
Factions is an extremely popular side of Massivecraft, thus the staff would like to make the experience for those who play, to the best and utmost highest quality. Therefore in order to develop and make the factions side of Massive a more close-knit and tight-bonded community we are removing 3 out of the 6
worlds we currently have for factions!

The faction worlds that are going to be deleted are the following;
Ithania - Purely due to it being the oldest and most outdated world we have in factions currently, and lack of active players in this world shows the need for removal.
Jorrhild- The icy tundra of snow isn’t appealing to many factions, and only a couple of factions actually do reside there. Thus needing to be removed.
Hyarocc- Surprisingly being the newest world, however it’s jungle terrain makes faction building limited and the player base residing there is minuscule, therefore being removed.
What can you do if you currently have a faction in either of these worlds?
Luckily our world staff have set up a way for those who are in dire need of eviction, a chance to get their bases relocated to one of the remaining worlds. Therefore builds that took a long while will be protected! However please note items in chests and storages will not be moving alongside the builds, so please store items safely to avoid losing them.
However in order for the world staff to actually relocate these builds, you will have to fill out an application form and await response from a staff.
However keep in mind the deadline to apply for your build to be moved is April 8th, 2018!
All of this is necessary to make sure each and every player is getting the most out of their playing experience, trying to keep the server lag free as much as possible! Therefore the removal of these worlds should lessen current lag that some players are experiencing, making their time alot more smooth and enjoyable!

We know how important channels are for getting people here and there, for talking without disturbing others and generally for feeling a part of the community and so we have released 3 new channels for you to enjoy.
PVP is a new chat channel made specifically for PvP members of the community but can be accessed by anyone. It has been made to re-route PvP related discussions, debates and issues away from General chat.
We know PvP can be frustrating and sometimes you just need to get some off your chest. We believe that you should have the right to take those issues into a chat in a way that does not affect other players or fill up the main chat channel and so PVP will allow you to do that.
Please note the following about PvP Chat
PvP Chat Cooldowns: same as global chats 60s non-prem 30s prem
PvP Chat Rule Violations:
No severe personal insults towards others
No excessive cursing towards another player
No doxxing threats, no actual doxxing
No severe sexism
No severe racism
No ERP
No trying to cause mass-panic
No severe political, religious or insensitive comments
No advertising competing servers

RP-OOC is a new channel that acts like a General chat for Roleplayers. It allows people to ask questions, request roleplay or discuss RP events without disturbing ongoing RP. This chat channel is accessible to all but will be used specifically for Roleplay topics and discussions.
If you’re looking for someone to roleplay with, looking for the location of an event or want to ask a friend about something related to their character, this is the perfect channel for you.
You can access this chat by typing “/c join RP-OOC” or “RP-OOC:” or “o:”
World Broadcast is an announcement channel very similar to the Broadcast channel in that only staff members will be able to use it but all players will be able to read it, the main difference being that whereas Broadcast is universal, World Broadcast will only be seen by players in the world that it is announced in.
This channel is brilliant for events and world-specific information that will allow important announcements to be seen without bothering anyone it isn’t relevant to.

THE EMPEROR'S GALA!
The entire city arrived at the Emperor's Gala Friday night! Many left with shocked and dropped jaws as the Emperor chose this fateful evening to announce of the two Princes, August and Florian. The whole room echoed in a solid celebratory cheer and it was almost as if all the dragon happenings vanished for that evening, for once everyone seemed to be having the time of their lives, eating, drinking and socialising with the plentiful of people who turned up.
The events begun with the gathering of the guests, all finding their barings and taking a gander at the vast amount of arts and treasured items in the various rooms around the area. Even the artist himself Enoch Marinos was there to grace the passersby who were gazing upon his marvelous work!
Gems put forth from their noble families gathered together in a play to honour, His imperial Holiness all dressed in purple and gold, the performers; Sigurna Wodenstaff, Carolyne Typhonus, Elizabeth Black , Rosalia Heinrich, Amelina Peirgarten, Come Ombre and Benjamin Wodenstaff. All executed their roles marvelously and performed with the utmost professionalism and were a great show for the opening of the Gala, seemingly the crowd were enthused at the end when the chanting of “For The Emperor” began to shower over Emperor Cedromar I, truly showing a united front of all those in Regalia who stand for the Emperor and the Crown City. It was at that moment where it felt anything could be possible, so this evening being a highly motivational one, increasing the morale of the citizens once again, rejoicing in the good fortune the Emperor has brought to the Empire.
Thrilling entertainment for not only the Emperor but for those who attended, when the circus performers came into view, showing a marvellous and well-executed routines surely keeping eyes fixated on them until the very end, many left wanting more. After this came to an end and the announcement was said, many nobles and guests filtered on their own way, with that being either indulging themselves on the finest of foods, or taking a trip into one of the four rooms catered for the guests. With that being said, this Gala was most definitely a night to remember in the memories of many.

The clitter clatter of footsteps on the busy street surround you as you follow the main road. You hurry yourself as you follow it right to the end, approaching the stone archway as travelers and natives alike carry through it’s opening. In the courtyard you spy Noble women enjoying a fine vintage with there suitors and scores of other people enjoying the night air with a warm brew. You carry on the trail and into the wooden doorway that greets you as it has many others, you can see friends, lovers, men and women from all classes enjoying the bar and the dining area. Before you can continue your exploration a black headed man beckons you over to his stall. The bartender grins as he asks how he could help you. After all the Golden Willow is the most friendliest establishment in Regalia.
The Golden Willow Tavern is the premier area of roleplay in the City of Regalia. In the center of the city, the Golden Willow is often the first area new roleplayers emerge themselves and interact in. When arriving at Spawn, only a short trip down the road will players encounter the archway to the entrance of Regalia's favorite tavern.
Characters can interact fully with everything and everyone at the Tavern.They can pull up a chair at one of the Player Ran Bars and order drinks or even try their luck and earn employment there. They can also head to the indoor or outdoor dining areas and socialize with other players, make new friends and relationships, and join in at all the fun social events that occur there.
So what are you waiting for? Head on down the main road and get yourself a brew with your friends as you enjoy the Hub of Regalia’s roleplay scene, The Golden Willow Tavern.

When walking in characters get the subtlety of the outdoor dining area featuring multiple tables, benches and social areas. Along with the Dragons Den restaurant to the back. When walking into the main building players can feel the immense roleplay occuring as they look at the many people sitting at the counter enjoying many of the player operated bars. As they continue on through the vibrant social area, they can find themselves a seat on one of the many couches chairs lining the in door dining area, stationed right behind the performers stage so that they may catch a show or listen to music as they eat and drink. If setting at the staged area doesn’t catch they’re fancy then there more welcome to head upstairs to the more private dining and drinking areas. People can also head to the Lush Kade herbatory garden located in the building and gander at all the plant life being tended to there.
The scenery itself is astounding, even more so with it’s vibrant Regalian Cultural decor. The wooden structure is a two storied building, with wooden floors and Blue and Purple carpet on the floors. It’s wall’s follow a similar pattern with Blue and Purple Drapes. The couches and chairs follow a similar pattern. The bar counters are oak wood, blending in nicely with the floors and the walls.

The Connection Gods Have Spoken!
Once again, you can connect to the Regalia server on a number of Minecraft versions! Regalia connectivity extends from 1.8 up to1.12.2! No more worries about version numbers when you want to leave the wilds of Ithania to wander the most beautiful and inhabited city on a Minecraft server!
This fix includes the market!
Remember that MassiveCraft supports 1.8 combat, regardless of version number you play on!
In addition, the past few months saw a number of players that would time-out when they tried to connect to the server, regardless of version they were connecting to. We believe that we’ve instituted a few bug fixes to prevent that as well. So connect, and play on!

Why, it’s the Klausmas Reindeer!
From now through December 22nd, something magical is in the air in the Factions Worlds!
Flying Reindeer will be seen in the skies, trying to get to Klaus’ workshop to help bring toys! These reindeer will drop extra-festive, limited-edition lore items! You’ll be able to see these high-flying beasts over the faction spawns! Have a jolly hunt throughout the server!

The Winter Festival Begins!
The Winter Festival begins tomorrow! Klausmas approaches and the holiday spirit is growing. Come celebrate the Winter Festival with MassiveCraft, starting at 5pm Central/11pm GMT! Could the Legends be True?
As a series of executions unfolded on the grounds of Fort Loyalty, the citizen of the Fort, stalwart guards, and the city at large were terrorized by a Dragon!
The Dragon has caused immense damage to the city, and citizens are advised to lodge near the center of the city for news and information!
Keep your eyes to the sky! For the Dragon has disappeared. For now!
