Today, I've got the ULTIMATE nagging question -
How do I make a 1.8.8 server?!

I'm in Linux Mint Rebecca,
When I get the minecraft_1.8.8.jar file, I can only open it up in Ark or Open JDK Java Runtime unless I use Open With - idk what program to open it in

I need a step by step tutorial or step-by-step instructions so I can make a server! =DD

Trust me, I REALLY need to get this server set up! It'll have LOADS of minigames once I find a command expert (I'm only half good )!
