How many of you fellow server owners hate that in order to get even 1 player, you have to spend tons of time advertising, even more time than you do actually improving the server, but you still get no players, because there are no players on your server to begin with, so people are like, oh, that server suck because they have no players, you need to have players, to get players.

Just have some school friends join and then you already have a few people on there because they will want to play with you

Wish there was a better way to at least get a few more players when starting out without having to try so hard.

I actually have discovered a way that I hope works, unfortunately, it costs money and I don’t know if there is a way around that

I get around 3-10 new players join my server per day mostly from bumping on PMC, but very few stay online for more than a few minutes. Just the way she goes. In last 12 months I have had 580 new players join, and I would say around 10 are active.
I do get a fair amount of people join who then say "this server sucks". My server then kicks them thanking them for their input and advising they go else where. It's their loss not mine. Some people like a quiet server...

Well I have a server and at least gets 1 player per day
