You should get subscribers naturally, but I guess reminding them at the end of your post to diamond favorite and subscribe if they like, or appreciate how long it took you, isn't going to do any harm.

I also think, not now obviously because the dedline is in less than 2 hours, but I think for future contests, trying to get more subscribers would help a lot, most of your subscribers should diamond your work if they like it so Happy Days!

i think it is also worth saying that if you diamond other peoples work, they are more likly to diamond your good ones. I know that if someone has diamonded one of my works or subscribed to me, I am more likely to look through there work and look at the good ones. If I think that deserves a diamond I will give it to them ( i dont want to sound like "Diamond my stuff" or "subscribe" in order to help myself I am mearly pointing out that if you dont give diamonds, how do you expect to get them yourself)

We got a bit sidetracked, its 3 hours till its to late to change anything so any tips on presentation or the skin itself would be greatly appresiated. Thank you to everyone who helped so far

Here, let me say it again. To get into the finals you need to be part of the top 100 diamonded skins entered. Once the submission phase is over, we enter the review period where the site calculates the top 100 based on diamond count. Then we enter the judging phase where us judges rate the skins based on Originality and Concept and Technique and Execution, not diamond amount. This is coming from someone who has judged before and is judging the current contest.

Do I need to make it any clearer? Diamond amount only matters to get into the finals, not the placing. You don't have to be popular to win, you need to make a good skin.

to be honest, I don't think my best skin will get to top 100, It's a shame, really... but yeah, You need diamonds and popularity.

As terrible as It sounds, you need to be well-known. No matter If you made an amazing skin for It; It won't get well-known If you're not well-known.

Yeah, I think that's a big problem in PMC. But there is no real way to change it.

I guess maybe in the evening then (UK) when both the uk and us are online. Thank you wms98 and I didn't think about how quickly things went out of the recently updated.

I don't know, I guess there must be a time where time zones between the countries that play Mine Craft are all awake and on PMC. It would be interesting to find out if there is a time with a lot of people on, but on the other hand more people means your skin will move down the recently submitted quicker, meaning there isn't a huge importance on timing. E.g you could update it when there are only a few people online but they wont put many skins on so you will stay on the recently submitted for ages. If there were 10s of 1000s on, you would be taken off the recently submitted very quickly.

as a rough benchamark is it like 10-20 diamonds 20-30 to get into the top 100? also devilkid99 very nice skin, as well as a great backstory, its a shame that a lot of people post ridiculous skins that took no work with no backstory and drown out good submissions like yours. Is it like they just want the participator badge or something, not that PMC can really do anything about it. Great skin:)

i know how it feels like, and it doesnt get much better either . But i must say that its a great skin, expecially considering that you are level 2. Gl in the competition and i think that its only fair tht u get a diamond from me cos ur skin is awesome.

good skin Law-Law would have been even better with a backstory of some sort, I think that would improve your chances of getting more diamonds but good skin.

I entered this contest myself, but being a new member don't really get diamonds xD In fact my contest skin is the first skin I do have a diamond for.
