I totally agree. If only that brown palette was bigger. ;-;

To me, the design of Pigglet's skin has been seen countless times before and the shading is pretty messy (you can see he rushed it ). So I went for Myra, sorry pigglet.

The palette is fine IMO, it's supposed to be a challenge after all.

Who made that palette they should be fired

I went with CrazyPigglet because Myra's shading was too bubbly and didn't fit the skin at all. Tbh if they'd traded shading it would have looked a lot better.

IMO both were kinda messy. Piggy, yours had a little too much shading, and the colors just didn't have enough contrast (or too much contrast?) to support it. Myra, yours was a little clunky, but the colors blended better and the 3D layer was very nice, although it probably would've fit a little better as a tree golem.

In the end, I went for Myra, but it was really, really close.

(Just so you know, I made a teeny tiny edit to the layering on the face shortly after this thread was posted. I hope that's not against PBL rules.)
