Ok so I want to put wings on one of my skins but it wont work without the wings spreading onto the back of the arms. But even if this happened would you still download it?

As long as you like it and are proud of the work you did then you shouldn't care what other people think. If you create something you like then others will follow.

Yeah, it should be fine. If it looks nice and is well shaded, people will still download it
