I can code still trying to figure out the model thing but I can do blocks and items, food, tools, ore generation, armor, crafting resipes, yes I know you asked for animal thing but sadly I don't know how to do that yet but I can do other things hope that helps

ya actually blocks would really help to tell you the truth i forgot how XD sure i could figure it out if i just sat down and tried to figure it out though
