one question. How do you not find A buildteam? There are SO many teams recruiting in these forums.
unless you mean none of them were suitable, which I can understand.
Also, are you sure you want to be on a team? have you tried out creative servers yet? (and I mean good ones, not random ones on a random network).
Try DivineFreebuild, it's the server where most of the big builders hang out in their free time, but there's plenty of space for anyone looking to improve their skills.
