Contest Explained
There will be 10 teams of 2 for this contest.
Every week, one theme will be given to all participating teams and each team must collab on a skin that fits the theme. Every Sunday, two teams will be eliminated by me and the judges and the remaining teams will move to the next round. This will go on until only two teams are left and they will have to compete against one another that week to see who will win the 2018 Collab Skin Contest.

Rules
If you fail to follow any of the following rules, your team will automatically be disqualified.
1. All skins must be originally made by the team together.
2. There must be a new skin every week meaning that no skins made prior to that week are permitted.
3. Participants may only have the help of their partners who they are teamed with.
4. Everyone participating must follow all PMC rules.
5. All submissions must be submitted by the end of every week. Feel free to notify me or one of the judges of your team finishing your skin earlier if you finish early.
6. Only one skin can be submitted per week. You are allowed to edit your skin over the course of the week as long as you notify me or a judge and submit your final piece by the end of that week.
7. Transparencies on skins aren't allowed.
8. All participants must be a PMC user
9. Each teammate must put in 50% of the effort meaning that teammates' parts in the collab need to be equal.

Judges
Judging Criteria
The judges and I will judge teams based off of four main points:
1. Application
- Does your skin go along with the theme?
2. Execution
- We will look at your shading and skin design to see how clean and well executed your skin is.
3. Uniqueness
- Does the skin stand out from other skins with the same theme? Try to make a skin that you can’t find just anywhere, but one that pops out from the rest.
4. Appeal
- Lastly, is your skin appealing to the eye? This means that we will be looking at your skin and asking if it does have an appeal to it and is aesthetically pleasing.

Start and End Date
The contest will start July 9th and end once only one team is remaining.
The Prizes
The only remaining team left will win the following prizes:
• 2 requests per teammate from me and possibly a judge
• An art request per teammate from me
• The winning collab skin featured on my profile for a month
• A favorite and diamond on each teammate's submission posts
• I will subscribe to both teammates if I haven't already

Round 2: Human-Animal Hybrids
- this basically means that you should make your skin both a mix between a human and an animal( do not do human-animal hybrids already created and very well known such as mermaids and centaurs.). One example of this theme would be to do like a man with a chicken head or a half woman and half dog.

Round 3: Mythological Creatures
Any type of creature from mythology would work. However, the more common your creature is, the less of a chance that you will make it to the next round in regards to other judging criteria.

Round 4: Gradients
This theme is easier said than done. Try to make it a unique idea involving gradients whether a person, animal, or whatever you and your teammate would like. If you are confused, here are some examples.

Round 5(Last round): Glass
The last theme is hard. By glass, the judges and I mean to make something somewhat transparent or reflecting. Make sure to think of something unique, but also a skin that resembles glass and transparency.

Hi! I just have a small question in regards of the theme. By time era, would a certain decade style fit the theme, such as the 80s? Or does time era mean something like medieval times and such?

Just a style from any time period. 80s is fine and medievel is fine. Just make a skin that fits in with a certain time period's style.

I’m glad you want to join! With the collab, it is really up to you. You guys can decide on who does the shading or who does the design or both. I only care that it was a team effort and that the skin was made specifically that week. I hope that makes sense?
