Hmm... from past experiences with shooters/fps games, I really enjoyed the Battlefield series, Skyrim is great too, but if you had a PC, it would triple the fun...

Seeing as you seem confused about Skyrim;

Its a great game, if you likes RPGs you'll love it. If your unsure about them, its still a good game, it doesn't drop you in the deep end like some games do.
Nor is it extremely confusing and difficult to pick up.

Its a game that you play for hours and loose yourself in. Thats a brief description of how I feel, Skyrim is.

personally, I wouldn't go for MW3 because its just another COD game. I don't have that or BF3, FPS games have become boring for me anyway.

Maybe Garry's Mod.


But you need a source game in order to play it like Half-Life 2 or Team Fortress 2 *Team fortress 2 is free on steam.*

There a bunch of create game out at the moment, but it depends on personal taste.

Shooter: BF3 or MW3 (big online communities)
First Person Adventure: Skyrim (long play time)
Sandbox: Saints Row 3
platformer: Rayman

Remember you can get demos for most of these in the ps3 shop thing, so it's always good to try before you buy ^^

Don't get Skyrim on PS3. Console ports by Bethesda always result in hell.

Skyrim (in my opinion) is worth it.
But, other options include:
Pre-ordering Mass Effect 3
Mass Effect 2
Mass Effect
L.A. Noire
Dead Island
Aliens vs. Predator
Pre-ordering Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City
Little Big Planet 2
Anything that appeals to your mind and gaming style.


Or, invest in stock.
