Can we host unofficial building competitions?

What I mean is, are we allowed to simply make a thread in the forums (yes, forums, not main site) and host a building competition? And if so, which subforum should we post in?

No. It's not on a permanent server...I kinda hate those.
Rather, it's the opposite. The temporary server is created FOR the event.
Or people can just do stuff in their CSP worlds and send them in.
