look up henry the coder on youtube is tutorials may be outdated but setting up jdk will still work so do it the way he says to set up jdk then get the new version of mcp get the game decompiled and fiddle with things and learn by doing or search a few basic tutorials like adding blocks or items in

ok you can be really sure that it wont work your first 5-10 trys XD modding can me a pain but dont listen to the java coders that say it takes months to learn i made my first mod within a few hours
