Can this be a 'blog' or should it be a 'forum post'?

This question is for site mods.
I'm putting together a youtube contest that involves challenging players to create a kind of WorldPainter tutorial. Submissions for the contest may involve the tutorial be in blog form as an alternative to video form. I also require the submission include a link to my video announcing the contest..rules etc. So the blog entry would be a 'tutorial'...to be considered for the contest. However, it is an entry for a "player created contest" and also contains link to youtube video.
Is this an acceptable blog post?

Yah so I will challenge people to make a kind of "tutorial". But it is a contest challenge by me for them to make the tutorial.

I think he's asking about the entries. Tutorials are fine, yes. Being part of a contest doesn't change anything.

A blog post that is a "tutorial"........however is part of a contest.
It is a grey area.
